Baby Development Milestone
Question about baby developments?
My baby son, Tyler has started moving very quickly on his tummy like a seal. My other two boys never done this, its so funny to watch. I know all children development there milestones in there own time but going by what he’s doing do you think, by your own experience he will crawl or go from that to walking?? Just of pure interest…many thanks in advanced xxx
He starting doing this 3 weeks ago. He’s now 7 months xxx
How old is Tyler? It’s very common for babies to slide or roll on their tummies before they crawl. Alec developed some sort of tummy ’shuffle’ which was hilarious before he started crawling! Babies will usually:
From 4 months – Slide or roll on their stomachs, like Tyler is doing!
From 9 months – Pull themselves up to standing whilst holding onto something/someone.
From 12 months – Stand without support, and may begin to walk.
Having said this, it is hard to say what is ‘normal’ for a baby as they are all so different!
